The Balma building is full of Swiss charm with beautiful wooden balconies and a peaceful alpine aspect. Located just two minutes from the main Matterhorn cable car and just a short walk to the main streets of the centre this is a really great location.
This is a fabulous apartment, spacious, warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable.
On entering the apartment the natural light bounces off the beautiful exposed beams and eaves making this apartment really warm and inviting.
The spacious hallway provides plenty of room for storage and opens out into the main open plan area of the apartment.
The living room is magical. With a real log fire (wood provided) and luxurious furniture, its a perfect space to relax, unwind and if you are up to it, entertain! The large windows look out to the Matterhorn but to make things even more special, the forest comes right up to the apartment and is a popular site for the beautiful mountain reindeer to graze in the mornings.
The living room also has two sumptuous leather sofas, coffee table, lamps and book cases. There is a TV with satellite channels, DVD player and Hi Fi. The apartment has Wi Fi internet access throughout.
The dining room is open to the living room and has views out to the mountains. There is an attractive wood dinning table and chairs for spacious dinning for 6 guests. There is access to a south facing balcony where guests can sit and soak up the beautiful alpine surroundings.
The open plan kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a full oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, pots, pans, crockery and tableware. There is everything you will need for self catering if you are taking a break from the many wonderful village restaurants.
There are three spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, beautiful wardrobe, night tables with reading lamps and a smart en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. It is a lovely room with exposed beams and warm tones. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds, night tables, lamps and wardrobes. All very cosy. There is a second bathroom with a shower and wc.
This gorgeous apartment is very comfortable, very alpine and a real treat. It is wonderfully located and makes a great choice for your Zermatt experience.
For this apartment the price includes a taxi from the station to the apartment on arrival.
Additional Booking Conditions:
From 1st December - 30th April bookings run from Sunday to Sunday.
For this apartment the full outstanding balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the arrival date or within 3 days of booking if booked within 30 days of arrival. Payment can be by bank transfer or by credit card. If the balance is paid by debit/credit card a 3% charge will be applied.
For cancellations up to 90 days before the arrival date Ch.300 will be charged.
For cancellations up to 60 days before the arrival date 50% of the outstanding balance will be charged.
Bookings cancelled within 60 days of the arrival date or for no-shows the balance will be fully payable.
For this apartment guests will be asked to provide credit card details as a damage security deposit.
If the balance is paid by credit card a 3% charge will be applied.
Please note, this is a non-smoking apartment.
From 1st June - 30th September there is a 3 night minimum stay. Cheaper rates are available for stays of 7 nights or more. Please contact us for details.
From 1st December - 30th April there is a 7 night minimum stay, except where a booking includes nights between December 27th and January 3rd, where there is a 14 night minimum stay.
Cot/crib hire is Chf.100 per week.
