The apartment is entered on the second floor of the chalet. The styling is modern yet comfortable and with lots of generous sized windows there is plenty of natural light. On the entrance level there are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 (13 m2) with a double bed, flat screen satellite TV, radio and electric shutters. Bedroom 2 (13 m2) with a double bed, satellite flat screen TV, radio and electric shutters. This bedroom enjoys access to the west facing balcony. Bedroom 3 (15 m2) with a double bed, en-suite shower/WC, satellite flat screen TV, radio and electric shutters. This bedroom also has access to a south facing balcony. There is an additional bathroom on this level.
On the upper floor there is a wonderful open plan living space. There are huge floor to ceiling windows affording fabulous views over to the stunning Matterhorn. There are two large leather sofas, a wonderful Swedish stove, satellite flat screen TV, video, radio, CD-player, stereo unit and DVD. There is access to a north and west facing balcony.
The kitchen is also open plan to the living/dinning area making catering a sociable affair. The kitchen, with cooking island and bar is modern and well equipped including ceramic hob, oven, and dishwasher.
Also on the upper floor is bedroom 4 (13 m2), with a double bed, shower/WC, satellite flat screen TV, radio and electric shutters. This bedroom also has access to the balcony. On this floor there is a separate WC.
In the chalet there is a wellness area shared with the other apartments. This includes a bio sauna and fabulous outdoor whirlpool (Whirlpool: 3.5 x 4 m, depth: 1.2 m.). There is also a ski storage room with ski boot dryer, washing machine and tumble dryer (for shared use).
For this apartment guests receive a welcome pack at check-in. An example would include:- 1 bottle of Valaisan red wine, 1 bottle of Valaisan white wine, 2 bottles of mineral water, a savoury snack, chocolate bars, a fruit basket, flowers, Nespresso capsules, dish-washing detergent, spices (pepper, salt etc.), sugar, information material about Zermatt (current brochures and maps) and a DVD about Zermatt. It's also possible to send a shopping list at least 2 days prior to arrival (groceries etc. are at extra cost, cash payment only). Firewood is also available (free of charge).
Please note that as the chalet is located in an elevated position access is via 80 m steep footpath. The views are worth it!
